How to find a balance between life and work?
Good afternoon.
How can we IT professionals keep a balance between life and work?
So that there is no apathy either at work or in life.
I am engaged in life - there is not enough time / strength (more strength) for work, I am engaged in work - I do not have enough time / strength to live.
I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
With work, everything seems to be fine, there are no overloads, when compared with other IT companies. So it's most likely me.
Tell me, how do you do it?

Another one felt like its [email protected], the toaster turns into ebanoe.it
I feel like I'm doing something wrong.you did something "wrong" when you chose IT. The race for knowledge, constant perseverance is constantly ... . What is the health and time here, what are you talking about, my friend? Hucksters from the market, workers at the factory, and indeed 90% of all hard workers in general have health and time. And your destiny is to work 8 hours, then come home and engage in "SELF DEVELOPMENT". You probably wanted to be Jops or Zuckerberg.
I'm June, this is my first job.In 10 years you will turn into a living corpse. burn out and the industry and employers will suck all the strength out of you. Then they will write you off and find another one of the same kind, and you will go to the dustbin of history, like all IT people.
I'm in pretty poor health.
>balance between life and work?
in IT it is very simple - your work should become your life and the balance will come by itself.
it's like a sport - you either give yourself to it and achieve success, or hang out somewhere below without any sane results. Not all industries are like this, but IT is exactly like that.
It is hard to drive yourself into the framework of 8 hours of work and 2 hours of self-education per working day. Not more.
If you work not better, but more efficiently, then life will seem better.
Like in IT startups. First, the work is done for efficiency, and only then for improvement.
Start the right family with children - they restore and motivate.
