How to filter nodes by date field?

Hello!
There is an event type of material, it has a date field in the date + time format, I display this type of material through a page view. You need to display an open filter in the form of a calendar, let's say the user clicked on February 9th and events that will be on February 9th were displayed. Can anyone tell me if someone has already done something like this? Maybe there are some modules? I installed the Better Exposed Filters module, the calendar is displayed but the nodes do not want to be filtered. Thank you!
