How to filter by date range in gridview?

Throw some widget like demos.krajee.com/date-range into the filter (there is even an autoUpdateOnInit just for gridView)
You can use a custom gridView from the same author demos.krajee.com/grid
Or use _search which generates a standard gii
and fix it ModelSearch, add two public variables $from, $to and adjust filterWhere according to them
