How to fasten your svg icons to Twitter Bootstrap using its styles?

If you slip an image through the background, then depending on the font size they behave the same way, but the color does not change. I'm not interested in editing the glyphicons-halflings-regular.svg file, but in the simplest way. Although, if it’s just as simple, then it’s also interesting, but the nuances are also interesting.

If I understand you correctly, then most likely editing the bootstrap files is the fastest solution that will lead to the desired result, since glyphs are essentially a font and the behavior you want is the behavior of the font.
Another approach is sprites, but this is another story and the behavior is different from the desired one.
