How to establish pppoe connection on CentOS?

Is it possible to establish a pppoe connection with a provider on CentOS using standard means (without downloading anything), and if so, how to do it?
In more detail, the task is to raise an ip telephony server based on Elastix (and it is just on CentOS). Moreover, the same server must also be a gateway for the local network (5 computers in total).

Out of the box, ppoe is unlikely to rise, unless at the time of installing the system you install the plug-ins "to choose from", during the installation process you need to select the installation of additional. packages. If the system is installed, you will have to add the ppoe plugin manually through the repository. After installing the plugin, you already configure NetworkManager (in the tray on the network icon, right-click, change connections, add and select ppoe from the drop-down list, which you configure).
It is convenient to search for packages through synaptic (IMHO !!), which also needs to be installed separately, in the terminal yum install synaptic
And already synaptic will find you everything you want.
