How to erase and use an FDE encrypted disk?

I bought a used ten-thousander, but it turned out to be encrypted. Of course, because hardware encryption, then no way to erase the disk programmatically, for example, using dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda, connecting the disk through the HBA controller does not work, any manipulations lead to i / o error.
It also fails to import the foreign configuration into the megaraid BIOS, but when trying to automatically configure it, it gives an error:

the following drives are secured using full disk encryption. You cannot use these drives in a drive group that is not secured using FDE until you securely erase the drives or disable drive security on the controller.

Because data is not needed, and I do not know the password, then I agree to erase the entire disk.
So, it is proposed to erase the disk using secure erase, as I understand it, but the only trouble is that hdparm does not work with SAS disks, and sdparm does not have such a function.
It also doesn't show the sanitize function in the opcode list, so that doesn't work either.

In turn, all sorts of victories and mhdd do not see SAS disks at all.

It's time to try R.tester:
  • Firstly, it would be good to see how he sees the HDD at all, then you can try the write test.
  • Secondly, as far as I know, R. tester, at least among free programs, has the widest set of functions (SMART emulation for SAS / SCSI, etc.) for working with SCSI and SAS disks: https://rlab .ru/tools/rtester.html
