How to enter in AD FreeNAS?
Previously, according to some instructions, I introduced freeNAS into the domain, but then it didn’t work, due to a lack of RAM to work with ZFS, the server was unstable and it didn’t work, now I decided to make storage for backups on UFS, on the same machine, but The past flash drive has already gone and I'm setting it up again.
Found a seemingly great how-to with pictures for people like me

but as a result of fiasco:
# wbinfo -t
checking the trust secret for domain STP via RPC calls failed
error code was NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN (0xc00000df)
failed to call wbcCheckTrustCredentials: WBC_ERR_AUTH_ERROR
Could not check secret
# net rpc info
Enter root's password:
Could not connect to server SRV-SHR
The username or password was not correct.
Connection failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
deleted from AD, DNS, DHCP a record about the past server, changed IP, name, users, nothing helps.
swears at the user-password, but I tried both the account I created for freeNAS and the account with domain administrator rights, nothing changes.

for some time everything turned out, somewhere it’s obvious, I didn’t do something carefully
Is the server available? Is the ping coming? Did you connect by the full name of the controller?
Didn't find what you were looking for?
