How to enable the OS boot menu (dual boot windows 8.1 and ubuntu 14.04 LTS) after starting the computer?

Hello.
I have a laptop that originally had windows 8. I installed ubuntu 14.04 2nd OS on the same computer. There were no problems: when the computer started up, a menu appeared where I could choose which OS to boot. Most recently, I needed to reinstall windows 8. The installation went smoothly, but the OS boot menu was gone. Now windows is always loaded by default. Please tell me how to return the OS boot menu?
Thanks a lot.

Boot from any livd-cd and reinstall grub.

You can leave bootmgr.
You need to download grub4dos, and place it next to bootmgr
then add it to the boot list:
now create a menu.lst file next to the grldr.mbr file and write there
default 0
timeout 0
title Ubuntu
find --set-root /vmlinuz
kernel /vmlinuz root=hd(0,2) ro quiet
initrd /initrd.img
boot
maybe not hd(0,2) depending on which partition ubuntu is on
, you can reboot
