How to enable gii in yii2 advanced?

In the basic version of the framework, in order to work with gii, it must be connected. Somewhere I read such information that you don’t need to do this in advanced, but you can just write it in the address bar, but it didn’t work (it gives a 404 error). They also advised me to prescribe the same as in the base one, while nothing happened to me. So how do you include this unfortunate gii in an advanced template?
