How to enable auto brackets in intellij idea?

Dear community, such a usability question arose.
in a light editor (atom) I can do this (averaged by brackets / quotes)
1. I press { immediately it turns out {} with the cursor in the middle
2. I select the text, I press { the selected text is framed by brackets.
Can this mode be enabled in idea?
[upd] Clarification: for, for example, text files. Works in languages.

If I'm not mistaken, what you say can't be done. But you can set it up so that when you put { and press Enter, the bracket will be placed at the same level through one line. That is, your cursor will be between the two brackets. One bracket will be on the first line, and the second on the third, respectively, the cursor will be on the second.
