How to embed a wide video on a website?

Good evening.
I'm trying to put a video on the landing page so that it fills the entire width of the screen.
The picture and the player itself are made to full width, but when playing the picture becomes small, there are indents on the sides and top / bottom.
This is how it is put:

there is something wrong with the video itself. Where would you look in such a situation?

If I understood correctly, then you did not take into account the aspect ratio.

When sizing, aspect ratio must be taken into account. If you want a different ratio, then the video must be recorded or edited and then uploaded to Youtube.

Apart from the aspect ratio, I would look at the size of the embeddable player in the code.
Video -> Share -> HTML Code -> More -> Video Size
