How to edit default opencart 3 template?

Can you please tell me how to edit the default template NOT through the admin panel? I want to edit directly through the files on the hosting, because if there is some kind of editing history, the popup cart module does not work.

I know where everything is)) But for some reason, when I edited the file, the store looks the same. I open through the admin panel, I see a new code. But until I save it in the admin panel, the site does not change.
