How to edit css if "Combine and compress CSS files" is enabled?

Hello! Enabled Drupal's "Combine and Compress CSS Files" feature to get rid of lines like " import url(" http://site.com/modules/system/system.menus.css?n1730u ");" in the html code, now the css styles are compressed into the file " http://site.com/sites/default/files/css/css_ghM0pa... " is it where you need to make changes now? It's just that if I reset the cache, all the changes will be lost on the idea?

It's just not convenient, it's not visible through firebug on which line the style is in the original file, it shows the line from the compressed file)
