How to edit a site already uploaded to the hosting?

Hello!

Situation: I made a website (html, css, js), transferred it to WordPress locally (OpenServer, header.php, index.php, etc.), then uploaded everything to WordPress for hosting.

Let's say I decided to change something (blocks in places, photos or add a new section), what solutions are available, because I can't, for example, use Sublime or VSC for editing, but what about then?

As already said, editing is not a problem, from a technical point of view.
But - with this method it is very easy to get confused and lose files.
It is more correct to use code repository, GitHub or any other.

As usual. Edited on my PC, uploaded new files to the hosting via FTP

Sublime or VSC
see plugins for them ftp, sftp.
You can also use ssh.
And in general, almost all editors have ftp plugins
The same notepad ++
PHPstorm
Another option is through hosting

In WordPress itself, there is a tab Appearance -> Edit Theme. There you can edit everything directly
