There is a ready-made template for the news component, you need to make a duplicate of it and edit it a bit so that this template does not display news, but another section. How to make a duplicate so that it appears in the template selection menu?

Enable live site editing (Hermitage). Hover over the news component (exactly the one from which you need to make a copy of the template). And do this:
The same template will be copied to you.
