How to download torrent on android to usb hdd?

Good afternoon!
I have:
- TV BOX BeeLink
- HDD 2 TB connected via USB
- Transmition daemon installed - > Andromission version: 0.7.1328
- Transmission Remote GUI installed on PC
- Everyone sees each other (there are connections)
Problem:
If you specify the download path local storage TV BOX download is in progress. The problem arises if the HDD connected via USB is removed to the download site, I catch kib,re Permission Denied

Some versions of android do not allow writing to an external memory card. Perhaps the same situation with USB HDD.
What android do you have there?
