How to download a directory from Google Drive using the Python API?

Actually the question is in the title. I just can’t understand how it works and use the Google Drive Api, all attempts lead to errors. I need to use api to download a directory with all the files in it.

I am using Python 3.

This is file/object storage. There are no folders/directories)
