how to remove a product in the woocommerce cart widget using AJAX without reloading the page. Cart widget in the top right corner. If a product is added to the basket, the basket opens on hover and you can either go to the basket to place an order or delete the product by clicking the red cross in the upper left corner of the product photo.

I think only to write a plugin. It doesn't work out of the box.
