How to do authorization through steam?

Hello.
There is a need for authorization through Steam. I understand that you need to use OpenID, registered it here " steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey " and I don't understand what's next.
I would really like to know how to properly work with the SteamAPI, how to make and process requests.
