How to distribute WiFi to 50 smartphones?
What methods to use to distribute WiFi to 50 people / smartphones. There is no WiFi in the hostel. We need to figure out how to do it on a budget. So that everyone has internet at a good speed.
Enough of a regular router? Any special one needed?
Will a special tariff be required from the operator or can I get by with the usual tariff?
How are such networks organized in coffee shops / restaurants, etc.
Any information would be helpful.

Nothing, either fast speed and expensive and difficult, or slow but budget.
An ordinary router is a loose concept, now even cheap dlinks put the work of several routers in unison, distributing one network.
In addition to the choice of hardware, there is also a search for the location of the router, depending on the position of the clients with their uneven load, the surrounding walls of obstacles. I'm afraid a quality analysis can cost half the budget.
ps you still have to pull wired internet, there is a small chance to use power lines if you isolate the entire segment with special filters, ready-made hardware is also quite cheap (look for HomePlug, this standard in theory will even work between different manufacturers)
For example UniFI www.ubnt.su/ubiquiti/unifi.htm
This is one of the least budget options for normal speed.
One router for 50 people is not enough.
Cable and a dozen routers. The number of Internet packages (I doubt that 1 package will pull you all without lags) depends on the speed in the package and your needs. If conditionally 10 Mbps per snout of norms, then 3-4 connections of 100 Mbps will be enough for you in theory. Further from the main router with a cable, you scatter the Internet along the chain of routers, well, you hang up users with your password for each.
> WiFi for 50
Good requirements)) Maxim, that you will get 20 clients per point at 2Mbit / s for each.
For this number of clients, you need 2 routers with MIMO and 5GHz support.
Routers, you can also watch BU
Mikrotik - cheap and cheerful, settings to the ass
Ubnt - cheap with minimal settings
Ruckus R310 unleashed (BU) - my choice in similar projects.
One router for 50 clients is not enough.
The number of access points depends on the layout.
You will probably not last long at the usual tariff for individuals.
Tariffs for legal entities with the same maximum speed are many times more expensive.
By law, you are required to identify your wifi subscribers by passport.
Legal - only through the provider. It will make both subscriber identification, and a "swarm" of multiple access points with seamless switching, and 5G range and high speeds. Only it will not be "budzhetnenko".
And "budgetnenko" can be done by buying several routers with mesh support and setting it up. Only it won't be legal (for a hostel).
