How to distribute internet from PC to laptop via cable?
There are 2 PCs (desktop (windows server 2003 enterprise) laptop (windows 7)).
In the desktop 2 network cards. Internet from d-link wifi router, IP is determined automatically.
Task: connect a laptop to the Internet via a patch cord.
Server
settings: Laptop settings:
Ping is stable on both sides. FTP works on the server.
But! when trying to distribute the Internet:
gives this:
Firewall is disabled. What could be the problem ? Already tried to change the server address to 192.168.0.1 (changed the settings ...) and you get this: "An error occurred while allowing Internet connection sharing. Internet connection sharing cannot be allowed. Local area network connection is already configured to use IP -address, which is determined automatically"... Tell me what's the problem? Thanks everyone.
