How to display "weight" markers on GoogleMaps?
There is such a wonderful marker manager as MarkerClustrer .
For those who are familiar with this addon, it makes no sense to talk in detail about its functionality, and for those who are not familiar, they may suggest a different solution.
The plugin allows you to collect in clusters and cover with a beautiful icon indicating the number of markers a region filled with markers. My task is similar, but does not require collecting a shaft of markers on the map.
Exaggerated, I have a list of cities, with coordinates, and the population of each of them. It is clear that it makes no sense to insert 5000 - 15 million markers for each soul into each geographic point (the experiment showed a loss of "comfort" by 50,000 markers), but I would like to put ONE marker with a "weight" of 5k-15000k in the desired point with further collection of markers into clusters and displaying the population amounts on the Icons.
Has anyone experienced something similar or similar?
