How to display Ubuntu's primary settings window on a second monitor?
I'm trying to install Ubuntu 14.4 on top of windows 7. At the same time, I use a connected monitor, because my own does not work, but the initial setup window appears only on a non-working monitor.
Need advice on how to bring the window to the second screen or how to deal with the problem in general.

I can direct: go to the console, change the X settings.
Another option is to use a text installer.
The laptop must have a function key (F1 to F12) that is pressed in conjunction with "Fn" ("Fn" is located to the left of the spacebar) with which you can switch between "Mirror", "Dual monitors" and "Turn off native monitor" modes maybe there are some more.
