The directory tree has disappeared only in this project, how can I make the directories appear again? Removing .idia/ did not help.
Ubuntu 14.04, PhpStorm 7.1.3

If the project directory tree is no longer displayed or was not initially displayed, go to File->Settings->Directories and select Add_Content Root (path to the project directory)

There was a similar situation in Ubuntu. Closing the project ( File->Close Project) helped me. And then just reopened the project. PhpStorm Version 2020.3

Are you sure you have files in folders?
Your Project folder is open... it displays the current project structure as it is.
Or did you click something?
As a solution, delete the project. Recreate.

If it worked and stopped, then something happened to the .idea directory. Recreating the project will help.
