How to display data from another workbook in Excel?

There is sheet 1 containing 5 columns with information and statuses. How, when changing in column A, for example, the status to "in work" - display a line in sheet 2 ?
We need a formula for sheet 2 that will check the correspondence in the column against the rows in sheet 1.
