It depends on what you have in these blocks:

• if it's just blocks with a picture and a title, you can use MIGX. Images can either be filled in the same size, or adjusted using phpthumbof, in combination with Image +, for processing when outputting
  
• if these are separate resources with their own content, then as pdoresources wrote above and enter a picture for each resource in the TV field, then also phpthumbof, can be combined with Image +, for processing when outputting
