The meaning of the solution is this. Almost every site has its own *.CSS style sheets, they affect the display of site details. These tables are located on the sites themselves and there is no way to convert them. But there is an opportunity to create your own style and attach it to the site of interest. To do this, the Stylish add-on is used - a tool for managing styles. The new style introduces a CSS construct that disables the corresponding display element.
Solution:
1) install the Stylish add-on for Mozilla Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/stylish/
2) after installing the add-on and restarting the Fire Fox, in the upper right corner of the screen, next to the house icon, should appear icon with the letter S.
Select: Create a new style -> For vk.com
3) the rule that controls the chat_onl_wrap element fits into the new style:
1. #chat_onl_wrap { /* remove "quick dialogs" */
display:none !important;
}
4) after saving the style and reloading VKontakte, the chat should disappear.
