How to disable video playback in the browser?

Dopeklo.
All news sites (especially rbc.ru) just got bold and covered all the pages of the site with self-playing videos.
This is especially done in a zapodlyansky manner on RBC (lenta.ru also does not lag behind, breathes directly into the back of their heads, ghouls) - scroll the page and on you, watch the advertisement with sound, look and don’t choke.
The question is how to stop this mess?
The most annoying thing is that mobile browsers do not lag behind - they also play video, only on the way
PS flash is disabled and removed forever from the computer, this is apparently some other format - nothing affects it, regular Adblock does not work on video - it does not even text always cut...
