How to disable scroll height reset of ScrollViewer in TreeView when TreeViewItem is removed?

There is a TreeView, it has the property ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto". Everything works fine, but when items are removed from the TreeView, the scroll height is reset.
Found a solution for a similar problem , but there for WinForms, how to do it for WPF?
