How to disable reading files?

There are 3 ubuntu server users: user1, user2, user3.
They "live" in

/home/user1/
/home/user2/
/home/user3/

Each of the users can log in and view, but not modify, the files of the other two.
How to remove access and read?

assign access rights to home directories. e.g. rwx------
