How to disable persistent SSL?

I recently enabled SSL on the site, but then I realized that I didn’t need it, but now I can’t get rid of it.
I switched to an insecure protocol again, specified the site address with HTTP in WP, removed FORCE_SSL in wp-config. On the web server, nginx did an HTTPS > HTTP redirect.
But I ran into the fact that sometimes the browser gives out that a cyclic redirect has been detected. If you enable both protocols, then automatically redirects to HTTPS.
What could be the problem?
