How to disable deletion of emails from Gmail inbox?

Hello.
I ran into such a problem on my gmail mailbox - I have a leading letter, I answer it or forward it, then I clean the "Sent" folder, and now, after clearing the sent ones, Gmail also removes the letter itself from the inbox. If it is possible to fix this (i.e. make Gmail clear the sent folder and not delete the letter from the inbox), then please tell me how to do it.

Obviously, because in the web interface Google links letters into chains. There should be no problems with similar operations in a normal mail client.
