How to disable cron logging to the /root folder?

Hello.
On the cron server, for some reason, it duplicates the files it executes in the /root folder (as a result of processing this file with the same file name), which clogs up space on the server. Can you tell me where this crap can be turned off?

Add at the end of each line the cron " 2>&1"
