Many videos with English titles and descriptions are simply translated into Russian without asking, and this leads to confusion. How can I disable this without changing the default English language in the settings?

alas, but: change the language in youtube to english by default
this is the author of the channel on which the video is posted, includes localization for these videos

In the linked Google account, you need to add the languages \u200b\u200bthat you know, then the names in these languages will not be automatically translated

I've been on this site for many years and have tried it on many devices. This has never happened before and there is no such thing in the site settings. You may be using a browser with automatic translation, check its settings.
