How to develop on hosting?
Actually the essence is this - there is a folder with a project in which 2 folders are one for development and the other where everything is going, until this moment I did everything locally with browsersync, that is, all development went to localhost: 9000 and when you need to show the result to the customer, you need to open FTP manager and handles fill in the folder and then drag the link and show it and such a carousel until all the edits are done. And the second way is SFTP for gallp, which allows you to merge the folder where everything is going to the server, but this also takes time and the task needs to be interrupted (you can, of course, throw it into the default gallp task and constantly deploy to hosting, but it takes a lot of time)
Actually, the question arose : And how to develop directly on the hosting? to go to www.somesite.com for exampleand everyone could watch in real time how the change is going, which saves us from the FTP problem in general, it remains only to change the hosting address in the gallop on a new project. Is it realistic to implement this? And I want to ask senior comrades how do you do it all, do you live with sftp?
