How to develop for Android in material design?

Hello, there is a need to develop a simple application for Android, the only requirement for which is a convenient and beautiful interface. I would like material design.
But after watching a few tutorials on development, I realized that it’s too lazy to set all the styles by hand, and I’m sure there are already many ready-made solutions.
I would like to hear advice on what solutions you use, maybe the pros and cons of one or another.

However, you will have to set them manually. Prepare yourself a UI kit by redefining the styles of elements and texts - this will greatly facilitate the work. Take the documentation , new androidx libraries (they do not have serious bugs) and go ahead.
