How to develop an idea without opportunities?

There is a huge baggage of unpacked ideas, ambitions and projects in my head. It takes practice to open them. In particular, in video/audio editing and machinima creation. It would seem that download the necessary programs and play, but there is one thing - my computer is not so advanced for such programs. The processor at 2.7 MHz and RAM at 2 GB are beaten with a stick, and I haven’t heard the rustle of extra money for a long time.
Maybe someone knows less demanding programs for audio / video editing (and if possible for machinima (like Gmod'a)), in which it is quite possible to concoct something suitable?

If you really want to develop an idea, you develop it. Everything else is excuses.
There are a lot of ancient popular 3D games such as gothic, elder scrolls, gta, and so on and so forth, the main thing is that the computer supports and does not slow down when recording. Choose the one you like, look for an editor version, come up with a plot, shoot some kind of lightweight video capture, edit in old video editors that your computer supports, and post it on YouTube. The rest is a matter of PR and product quality.
Throw a link here, how you do it, it's interesting)

Your ideas are worthless until they are implemented...

The most important thing is the idea. Technique is secondary. Do something to get started. If everything is so limited by the capabilities of the computer - any side job + search for missing components from friends, etc ...
