How to determine through which network infrastructure the http request network packets were sent to my site?

I'm also interested in checking ping-a . As I understand it, this can be implemented using Socket. It is a real ping from the user to the site server. And is it possible?

Do you need to run ping on the client's computer?
In principle, it is possible, the same speedtest can do it. But he solves it through a flash application that runs on the client's computer.
And about network infrastructure - what do you mean?

Write traffic to a file, for example using tcpdump. By some service headers, you can determine the application that generated this traffic.
