How to determine the type of battery in the "black box"?

There is a trimmer (GA.MA GC614), from which the charging was sown and the slot of one of the screws was torn off, so it is not possible to unwind and see the type of battery. There is an iMax B6AC that I would like to use for charging, but the battery type is unknown. How can you determine the type of battery "in the black box"?
There was a more general question How to determine the type of battery? , but there were no clear answers to it.

Try to write here - www.dns-shop.ru/product/f3d315d862793361/masinka-d...
Perhaps they will write the characteristics of the power supply - voltage, current.
UPD.
Here - www.top-shop.ru/product/140989-ga-ma-gc-614/#chara... they write that the voltage is 2.4v, which hints at two Ni-Cd / Mh batteries connected in series. Can I trust them - I don’t know, try measuring the voltage at the contacts if it is not yet deeply discharged.
UPD2.
Here about a similar (in terms of operation and charging time) model - www.krasota-v-dom.ru/krasota/GA_MA_gc550_784.html#... they write: "Technical specifications: NiMh battery, 2.4V, 1200mAh, 6W".
I would venture to suggest that yours has a very similar battery.
Based on the passport charge time of 8 hours and the estimated capacity of 1000-1200 mAh, the charging current is approximately 120-150 mA, possibly more due to losses. You need to charge as NiMh, 2 cells, 2.4V.

What is the actual task? Make exactly the same charger as your own, or just charge?
If you charge - then any current source 100 - 200 mA. Let's say a 12V power supply and a 50 - 100 ohm resistor in series. Charges in a few hours.
How to charge - measure the voltage at the terminals. 2.8V - Alexey is right, there are 2 nickel batteries. 4.2 - one lithium.
My machine, say, runs on batteries. The batteries are dead - I connect it to the charger, and it cuts further from the network.
First, charge, make sure it's inside, then, if necessary, solve the problem of manufacturing or selecting a complete analogue of your native charger.
