How to determine the gender of a user visiting the site?

Good afternoon!
There was a task, depending on the gender of the user, to give him different information blocks on the site.
Question: how to implement this? Where to begin? In what directions to dig? How to determine the gender of a user? Is it possible to get this data through any API? VK, Google, Yandex?
Any ideas, links, help are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Most likely, it will not be possible to extract such information from the browser, because it is not there (sic!). It turns out that the participation of the user himself is required, for example, authorization (VK, Google, Yandex, etc.) or a specific question asked to the user when registering or visiting the site.
There is also an idea to analyze what the user does on the site, but this is strictly related to the subject of your resource. If this is an online store or a forum, then you can evaluate the viewed products or topics, if this is a blog or a landing page, then, alas, there is no way. Under some conditions, this solution may give a fairly accurate result. However, you need to understand that such data will not be particularly truthful, because all people are different and can read / watch everything at once. Although, if the idea is to give out advertising, then this is enough, since if the user watches cars, then, obviously, they are of interest to him. The same story will be, for example, with clothes for pregnant women.
So if you want 100% results then ask your user.

If this is really important to you, then it is better to ask right at the entrance. Make a cool popup with a question. Similar things are used on services, for example, "Are you a buyer or a seller?" and then directed to the desired page)
This will be the most reliable method.
