How to delete VK under GDPR?

Good afternoon.
VK, when deleting the page of an EU citizen, requires a scan of the passport and a photo against the background of the chat screen.
Does the GDPR allow such requirements?
What should be referred to in order to be processed without a passport?
By and large, it came down to deleting the old account, because there is 0 trust in this network, and they require more documents.

When registering, you agreed to the rules of the service, so you will come to present your passport. VK follows the GDPR, but it doesn't govern things like persona verification.

1. Vkontakte does not delete pages, but only hides them from public access (leaving access for special services).
Therefore, I would recommend changing the photos in the account to the left ones, changing the phone, randomly subscribe to other people's accounts and delete my real friends. And this must be done not in one day, but gradually.
2. Uploading a passport of an EU citizen on Vkontakte (read - to the Russian special services) is highly discouraged.
3. If you just want to troll the "Usmanovites", as an EU citizen you can, for example, use the right to be forgotten (also included in the GDPR ).
See GDPR for more details. Practical advice .
If you are an EU citizen, I would file a complaint with your "local authority" or gdpr.eu (which do not care to show your passport), and let them deal with Vkontakte. But, see point 1.
