How to decrypt encfs files?

The files were encrypted by the cryptkeeper program in Ubuntu. How can I decrypt them in Windows or in Ubuntu if the program is uninstalled. Only the encrypted files remained. Can it be done at all?

The settings should have remained in the home directory. Install cryptkeeper back and everything should work.
However, I suspect that passwords must be entered at mount, so if the passwords are lost, then that's probably it...
