How to decide on the direction of c#?

How did you decide on the direction of c#. I like web and desktop. Where to go deep I can not decide how. I want to connect my work with this language.

I chose the desktop, because. The web is full of native technologies. In general, I would not choose a job in the language. After all, it's stupid to work as a builder just because you have a good shovel.

First, you should delve into the basic knowledge of the language, and specialize after you work as a midlaner.

Programming is secondary. You need to train your vision of the solution. A solution is a complete set of technologies that provide the desired service to the user. And programming is only a part of such a service. If some "uncle" who thinks through the architecture of the application makes a mistake and throws the problem onto the programmers, then you personally will have a lot of headaches in the project.
Therefore, do not forget to pull up the admin panel, learn how to set up servers, application containers, etc. Sometimes programming starts a day, a week or more after testing the architecture.

If you do not live in the capitals, then what is in your city? If there is something related to C#, then go there and learn what they need.
