Search engines for different topics have different ranking algorithms, including they understand that product characteristics and similar documentation cannot be unique. Especially since your competitors are in the same position.
However, here you should not forget that there is rel=canonical, and if you have duplicates of type 1 on your site, and 100 modifications, then it would be nice to make 1 option canonical.
