How to deal with a brute force attack?

Good afternoon.
Please tell me how to deal with such a problem. Joomla site, updated all modules, in addition to brute force attacks, scripts are also written to files, which in turn redirect to links, a promoter, etc.
In general, the hoster blocked the site. I asked to unblock for a while, now I'm solving the problem.
If anyone knows, please help. I will be glad for any information.

If the scripts are in the files, then the brute has already been successful and the files are uploaded. Hire someone if you can't handle it yourself. It is necessary to look at the logs with the rights to work, close ssh, ftp can temporarily
