How to cut ai layout?

Good day to all. I will say right away that I have been working in Illustrator not so long ago, to be more precise, I am learning (then I plan to do After Effects and animation, but not about that). How to export each object / layer / image in Illustrator to a separate PNG file (let's say there is a design in an AI file and you need to cut it into pieces)? In Photoshop, there is no problem with this, but in Illustrator it seems that there is no such function at all.

Thanks everyone, I still found a JavaScript solution on github (it has its own nuances, but it's still better than nothing). They also suggested to me that it can be done somehow using artboards and of course the classic - export to psd

There are plugins, but they are often buggy. If you use them, then you need to double-check everything.
With artboards it's better, but longer.
