How to customize the look of emails from GitLab?
Good afternoon, there is a new, clean, deployed GitLab CE 11.4.5 When setting it up, email notifications were checked, and their appearance upset users. Namely, the letters are flat, no graphics, nothing.
After searching the Internet for answers, I realized that I couldn’t make my own templates, although I was confused by another fact, I found screenshots of this kind of notification
, but I didn’t quite understand, this is a notification that gitlab itself made, and is it just where hidden in the settings, or what?
In other words, is it possible to make users receive such emails?

On the screenshot itself it says that it was sent from the localhost. Look for letter templates in the source code, letters are not taken from a vacuum.

Took 5 seconds.
You cannot change templates from the "admin panel" (at least in CE).
You can change it in the templates of the gitlab itself (where Alexander Pushkarev pointed out )
BUT! You don't need to do this, otherwise you will deal with this garbage every update.
Give these users a poker on the head and let them write the code and not admire the notifications :)
