How to customize bootstrap 4?

I need to make a 16 column layout, the distance between the columns is 20 pixels.

Apparently not, but what's stopping you from opening the source, correcting 2 lines and compiling the strap yourself?
For example, the _variables.scss file contains the following lines:

// Grid columns
//
// Set the number of columns and specify the width of the gutters.

$grid-columns:                12 !default;
$grid-gutter-width:           30px !default;
