How to crop an image in Illustrator?

I know that there are at least several ways to crop an image. And every designer has their own methods and life hacks. You could share which is better.

In Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 , a Crop Image item has been added to the context panel specifically for cropping images. So the need for life hacks has disappeared.
