Well, it’s kind of a strange question, by default in opencart, if you put a product in the category of the most recent nesting (category2), for example, category-category1-category2 from the standard menu, when you click on category2, you will be taken to this category with products. If you select category1, you will be taken to a page with just the name of the category, in this case category2, and its image. By analogy, I think you can guess how everything works.
